Best advice is to get a better explained manual and just work at it when you have time. Doesn't work for either me or my wife. Not enough explanations for the photos, and not enough photos to adequately present each topic.
It was no help in figuring out how to get the photos into my picture developer, COSTCO. If you don't have a lot of time and want quick answers, this is not the book. I am new to Adobe and purchased this book to help me navigate the software. If you are looking for a simple guide to help with basics, this is not the book. If you are looking for more advanced help, this book may be for you. It has a lot of information. But does not help with basics.
It is a wonderful '101' book, high quality and well done. I loved this book.
I recommend it highly. This book is a very informative and educational tutorial for those of us who want to "fiddle" with fotos but don't need the full blown Photoshop application.
I would prefer to have a little more written instructions instead of just pictures but not enough to feel I need any other book to help learn the program. Topics are easy to find. I chose this book by reading all the reviews on all the books. I like it and find it easy to use.
